I need to cut into cans (the kind food comes in). Are there bit attachments that I can attach to my drill? Will they totally kill me with the cost?
Thanks! -r

Re: Handheld metal cutter?
Tue, November 1, 2005 - 3:01 PMA step bit (also called unibit) would work for holes 1" and smaller. Bigger than that, maybe a bi-metal hole saw. You'd also need a good vice or something to hold it in place lengthwise while you drill. -
